VM Excursion - Trade & Tech Fit Career Expo

Wednesday 4th June Ms. Gregor and 15 Vocational Major students from Year 11 and Year 12 attended the Trade & Tech Fit Career Expo at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. This event, Victoria’s largest hands-on career expo, was designed to inspire female and gender diverse students to explore careers in trades and technology.

There were over 100 exhibitors from industries such as automotive, aviation, clean energy, robotics and construction. Students engaged in hands-on activities like timber work, VR simulations to drive tractors and bob cats and interactive demonstrations such as laying bricks or using pot rivets. The expo was enjoyed by all who attended and provided students with a firsthand look into the trade and tech fields, as well as potential job opportunities and diverse career pathways in the area.

Ballarat Careers & Futures Festival

Ballarat Careers & Futures Festival is an annual Careers event for students entering their final years of school.  This event will give students the opportunity to speak with Universities, TAFEs and training organisations to find pathway opportunities.

Ballarat Careers & Futures Festival will be held at the Rintel Centre, Ballarat Grammar, Gate D, Forest Street on Monday 28th July 2025 - 5.00pm - 7.00pm
