Parent Payments for Sport

Dear parents and carers

As you are aware, Ballarat High School has a long tradition of offering our students a wide range of opportunities to represent our school with pride.

As a school, we heavily subsidise the programs that we offer, especially BAS sport. In order to cover mounting transport costs, and as we do not receive direct funding for these events, we are requesting a minimal contribution from families to ensure that we can continue to run a wide range of sporting events.

From Term 3, 2025 onwards, the following charges will apply;

• BAS team members                      $35 per term, per team
• SSV participants                            $15-$50 per event

Payment can come from the Camps, Sports, and Excursions Fund (CSEF) for those families who qualify.

We want every student to have an opportunity to represent our school. If any family needs assistance in meeting these costs, please contact the school directly and we will find a way to support your child.
