Year 2

Reconciliation Week 

During Reconciliation Week, the Year 2 students explored the important 2026 theme, “All In.” Students explored what it means to be “all in” and how even small actions can make a big difference. They discussed ways they can include others, show respect for everyone’s culture, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, listen carefully and stand up for fairness in their everyday lives. Students learnt that we can all help make the future better through kindness, learning and understanding.

As part of our learning, students wrote their own reconciliation pledges, sharing the actions they will take to help all Australians step forward together. It was wonderful to see students recognising that even though they are young, they have the power to make a positive difference.
