School Wide Positive Behaviour Support
Our focus for weeks 9 and 10 is:
Year F2C & D Report
Years F2C and F2D have been exploring the inquiry unit - Places in Our Community. Students have investigated natural features such as the Goulburn River, trees, and mountains, as well as built features like buildings, our school, local shops, and bridges. We enjoyed walking around our local area and were especially excited to visit the CFA fire station just as the firefighters were heading out. Together, we also explored the local history of places such as the old swimming pool, the sound shell, and the ANZAC memorial.
Mitchell Shire Visits
Our students from grades 5/6 have travelled by train to Broadford to visit the Mitchell Shire Council Chambers on several occasions to learn about civic issues, laws, responsibilities and how communities share resources.
The students presented the school beautifully in their uniforms and asked relevant, open ended questions throughout the excursion.
