SSV State Cross Country Championships

Congratulations to our three students who proudly represented Eltham High School at the SSV State Cross Country Championships. 

Competing against the best distance runners from across Victoria, Xavier Webley (Year 10 Skipper House) delivered a determined performance in the 15 Boys event, finishing an impressive 59th. In the 17–20 Years Boys race, Rhodri Whelan (Year 12, Skipper House) produced an outstanding run to finish 20th, while Felix Morgan (Year 11, Toner House) also competed strongly, crossing the line in 36th place. 

To qualify for the State Championships is a fantastic achievement in itself, and all three students should be incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they represented our school. 

A special acknowledgement goes to Rhodri Whelan, who competed in his final school cross country event. Over many years, Rhodri has been a dedicated and committed representative of Eltham High School, consistently giving his best at every level of competition. We thank him for his outstanding contribution to our cross country program and wish him all the best in his future sporting pursuits.
