Notes from the Principal

Welcome back to our Cavendish Primary School Community! A short newsletter this week to kick off what will be a fantastic Term 2.
Red Gum Festival
The Red Gum Festival was a raging success. Full credit to the Red Gum Festival Committee for putting on a fantastic event.
I was overwhelmed by the amount of food that our community donated to The Sweet Spot stall. Thank you all so much for donating food, time and effort. And thanks to those who helped man the stall and ice cream trolley while I was making smoothies. At this stage I do not know total raised, but I do know it was a very healthy amount for our Kinder and Primary School. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Unity in Action
I was on duty the other day and saw this...➡️
This is the majority of our kids all playing together on the oval. I don't know what the game was- it involved a big circle with everyone holding hands, but it filled my heart to watch all of them playing together. Aren't we lucky to be raising such wonderful human beings.
