Issue 5 catalogues were distributed last week, and all orders are due by 4pm Friday 8th August. Spare catalogues are available at the front office.

GRANDPARENTS DAY

Thank you to all the grandparents who generously donated picture books to our school library in celebration of Grandparents Day. Once catalogued, the donated picture books will be sent home with students for first reading with their families.

DANIELLE BINKS WRITING WORKSHOP

On Monday 28th August our Grade 5 and 6 students had an amazing opportunity to attend a writing workshop with Author and past LPPS student Danielle Binks. Danielle shared insights into story structure and the different forms narratives can take. It was wonderful to see students borrowing her books afterward and expressing their intention to enter the LPPS creative writing competition.

LPPS CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION

Our creative writing competition is officially open and students from all year levels can enter. Posters containing further details are now on display throughout the school and library.

A BIG THANK YOU - COLES/WOOLWORTHS PAPER SHOPPING BAGS

I would like to express my appreciation to the families who have kindly donated supermarket shopping bags. The response has been truly outstanding, and I can share that I now have more than enough to meet the library’s current needs.
