Hello from your Parents & Friends Committee!
Your PFC has already been buzzing like bees with a busy start to the term.
We provided the catering for Grandparents Day last week, which was a hit with the grandparents. THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered their time to help make it happen.
Now we're full steam ahead making sure the upcoming disco runs smoothly. A huge shout-out and massive thank you to our amazing Principal and Admin teams for all their help getting ready for the disco – we couldn't do it without their support and advice!
Once we've danced our socks off at the disco, our focus will zoom right over to getting ready for the Father's Day Stall. A lot of the groundwork for that is already well underway! We've learned a ton from the Mother's Day Stall and are working to simplify things for Father's Day.
NEXT PFC EVENT: DISCO!
Get ready to groove! Our school disco is next week, and we can't wait to see the gym sparkle with all of our amazing students!
This year, we've got DJ Repete spinning the hottest tracks, and for the very first time, students can prepare to enter the 'Glow Cave'! We've got a feeling it's going to be a massive hit!
Just a quick heads-up for parents: If your child is joining the fun and has any food allergies, please shoot an email to the PFC ASAP (if you haven't already!). We want to make sure we have all the right snacks set aside so everyone can party safely! Our email is langwarrinparkpfc@gmail.com.
UNIFORM DONATIONS NEEDED: If you have uniform items that you no longer need, please drop them into the school office.
We will accept all uniform items that meet the LPPS uniform policy, however we’d really love more winter items. This includes: jumpers / hoodies / warm things in all sizes (we are currently very low or out of stock in sizes 10 and up), as well as pinafores, skirts, and pants in all sizes. In the lead up to summer, if you find your child has outgrown their uniforms from last summer (they grow too fast don’t they!?), please consider donating them to us. The money raised from the uniform stall will be used for things around the school depending on need. We are currently processing a request for funding to help our PE department.
6th August: DISCO!
Ticket sales will close strictly 5pm today and volunteer sign ups are now closed. REMINDER: Disco day is a Free Dress Day (no coin needed) and students are encouraged to wear something sparkly if they wish. Closed toe shoes only, no Crocs or sandals allowed.
1st September: Father’s Day stall.
We’re changing it up this year! All gifts will be $5 each; a gift bag and card will be $2. Please order via Qkr.
