Students have been collecting leaves to mulch garden beds and make compost. Peas and broad beans were sown.
All classes have been exploring food waste and its environmental impacts by learning about the life of certain foods from paddock to plate.
Grade 5/6’s appreciated having Mrs Grey support the class by teaching knife skills and cutting up one of the pumpkins that was hiding in the lemon verbena tree. Many students enjoyed tasting the roasted pumpkin.
Students have enjoyed watching the building developments on the school corner.
