Primary One Section News

What a fantastic term it has been so far in Primary 1! Our students have been busy learning, growing and exploring through a variety of engaging programs and activities.
Room 1: Students have thoroughly enjoyed story time, especially when the narratives are brought to life with matching toys and songs. They have also shown great enthusiasm for developing their fine motor skills and pencil grip through interactive line-tracing and drawing activities.
Room 2: Room 2 has been building independence in the kitchen by mixing, icing, and rolling a variety of treats, including cakes, cookies, and pancakes. Students have also been showing great bravery by stepping outside their comfort zones to taste and explore the foods they have helped create.
Room 3: Students have been eager to explore different animals and plants during their science lessons, with a highlight being growing our own plants from seeds and watching them grow!
Room 4: Room 4 has focused on emotional literacy through the Zones of Regulation program. Students enjoyed using interactive whiteboard games and tactile visuals to point to and identify different colour zones and feelings.
