Principal's Report

Dear Maffra Secondary College Families, Students and Community Members, We are delighted to welcome two new teachers to the school - Ms Danielle Lamb, who is teaching year 8 English, year 7 Humanities and Year 12 Vocational Major Literacy, and Ms Bridget Poulsen, who is teaching VCE Chemistry and Year 9 Science.  Ms Kim Dormer has gone on maternity leave, and Ms Felicity Scully has stepped into the Acting Senior School Leader role in Kim's place.  Congratulations to Felicity on her new leadership role.  To replace Felicity as Year 7 Coordinator, we welcome Mr. Jack Ronalds into the coordinator position.  We have also welcomed a new instrumental music teacher to the school - Mr. David Williams - who is working with Gerry Ciavarella in the music department one day per week.  Finally, Ms Jayda Green has started recently as a new member of our wellbeing team to support our Indigenous students at Maffra Secondary College.

A huge welcome to all new staff as they join our school community and to existing staff as they take on new roles.  Thank you to all families, students and staff for making them feel welcome in their new positions.
