Year 12 Business Management

On the 8th of May, the Business Management students visited Yakult to deepen their understanding of the operations area of a manufacturing business. The excursion provided students with a valuable opportunity to see first-hand how business management concepts studied in class are applied in a real-world setting.

During the visit, students learned about the production process involved in making Yakult, including the different stages of manufacturing, quality control measures, and the technology used to ensure consistency and efficiency. Students also explored how the company aims to improve both efficiency and effectiveness through its operational strategies and management practices.

The experience gave students a practical insight into large-scale manufacturing and helped reinforce key Unit 3 and 4 Business Management concepts. To top off the visit, students also had the chance to sample a Yakult for themselves.
