Acts of Service

A person whose love language is acts of service likes it when others do nice things for them such as helping with chores, helping with school projects, or driving them places.

For adults it may include:

1. Clean the house unprompted.

2. Get their car washed and filled with fuel.

3. Look after the kids and give your partner the night off with their friends.

4. Take out the garbage.

5. Wash the dishes.

As parents and carers, we can be forgiven for thinking that acts of service are something that a parent does every day.

Knowing your child's love language is a way of building a stronger relationship with them.

Children whose love language is Acts of Service:

1. Collect canned goods together for the food bank.

2. Write a kind note & put it in their lunch box.

3. Bake cookies together.

4. Prepare their favorite meal.

5. Help tidy their room.
