Parent Code of Conduct & Respectful Communication

We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive school environment for everyone. As part of our duty of care, we must ensure that our workplace remains safe and free from inappropriate or threatening behaviour. Recently, we’ve seen an increase in such behaviour, including raised voices and disrespectful communication directed at staff, particularly our Front Office team.

We kindly remind all parents and guardians of our Parent Code of Conduct, which outlines expectations for respectful interactions. Please take a moment to review it:

Moving forward:

  • Breaches of the Parent Code of Conduct will result in a formal warning.
  • Continued breaches may impact your child’s enrolment.

If you have concerns, please follow the Grievance Policy to address them appropriately. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school a respectful and supportive space for all.

Western United Community Round

On Saturday 8 March, members of the GNLC community had an opportunity to participate in the festivities of Western United's community round. Our performing arts students provided pre-match entertainment, College Vice Captain Aaron G tossed the coin to start the game, and students from Prep - Year 7 participated in the half-time oval parade.

GNLC's partnership with Western United is a wonderful opportunity for community building in our exciting corner of the world!

As a school we got many top three finishes but special shout out to Callum Wickson, Arielle White, Cyrus Zhan, Ashwin Dubey and the girls relay team who made it to the next stage. The next stage is on the 3 April at Kardinia Aquatic Centre and we wish the students well!
