At last weeks assembly we were happy to annouce the names of our school Ducks.

They are settling well into our garden often sharing space and food with our cheeky chooks.

World Bee Day - May 2025

Always a favourite time in our KItchen Garden program , Bee Week aims to highlight the importance of Bees to our food production, ecosystems and local biodiversity.  We were lucky to have Bec our guest speaker present an informative presentation on all things Bees,

Students were reminded that most ikely over 30% of items in their lunchboxes would have been pollinated by Bees.  To help encourage the number of bees in our school grounds, we made Native Bee hotels  and Bee baths for bees to access water safely.

We look forward to working in our Bush Tucker garden next week and immersing ourselves in learning about native and edible plants in time to recognise Reconciliation Week.
