PE Update

Hockey Roadshow

Students recently had the opportunity to participate in hockey clinics run by coaches from Hockey Victoria and Hawthorn Hockey Club during their PE lessons.

They learned the fundamentals of hockey, including how to correctly hold a hockey stick, basic dribbling and passing techniques, and even took part in some modified game play for the older students.

It was fantastic to see how quickly the students developed their skills and grew in confidence throughout the sessions.

District Swimming Carnival

Yesterday 16 students went to represent RWPS at the district swimming carnival. They all swam exceptionally well, and there was lots of a personal success throughout the day and plenty of ribbons too!

Congratulations to all our swimmers on their impressive efforts and achievements! Also, a massive thank you to the parent helpers your help making the day run seamlessly. A detailed list of results will be included in the next newsletter.
