Sports News

Over the past few weeks our Year 6 students have been competing in Friday sports against a number of other local schools.  We have been fielding a mixed footy team and a mixed netball team.  Whilst the results have been mixed, all of the games have been close.  And, most importantly, everyone has had fun and shown great sportsmanship!

A big thanks to Bern, who last week organised a volleyball incursion for the whole school.  It’s great when we get an opportunity to try out a new sport with the experts running it for us!

On Tuesday, three of our students represented us at the Beachside Cross Country meet, George (Y3), Issy and Sabine (Y6).  We are very proud of their efforts with all three placing extremely well with impressive race times!
