Years F - 2

The F/1/2 students thoroughly enjoyed the Dream City excursion at Coleraine Primary School last week. Throughout the day, they participated in a range of engaging activities, including experiencing Virtual Reality, working as Electronic Engineers, and caring for babies in the Neonatal Nursery. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect with other schools while enjoying hands-on learning in a new and exciting environment.

This week in our Respectful Relationships lessons, we introduced the concept of Growth Mindset, with a focus on teamwork and using kind words during play and learning activities. The students demonstrated wonderful collaboration skills while working together to complete a puzzle challenge.

We are looking forward to next week as we explore Reconciliation Week and participate in a range of meaningful learning experiences. We will also begin completing assessment tasks in preparation for student reports, so classroom learning may look a little different during this time.
