Sports Update

Our rising track star Jas Brown represented the school with distinction at the All Schools National Athletics Championships this weekend, earning an impressive bronze medal in the 1500m event.
Jas also competed strongly in the 800m, finishing fifth overall. The event was run as two timed finals, with Jas competing in the first heat where he dominated the field, winning by seven seconds and achieving a personal best time of 2:05. While this put him in strong contention, the second heat had the advantage of knowing the target time.
Despite not getting the chance to compete in main final for the 800m event, it wasn't all doom and gloom as he got to meet one his heroes in up and coming Australian sprinting star, Gout Gout!
As a member of our Sports Academy, Jas continues to elevate his performance with each competition. His achievements at the national level are a source of great pride for our entire school community.
Harlin Takes on State's Best
On 29 November, Year 9 student Harlin Robbins competed in the Victorian Sprint Swimming Championships at MSAC, Melbourne. He swam in two events (butterfly and backstroke) and achieved a PB in Butterfly!
Awesome work Harlin!
