Persuasive Writing in Foundation 

Our Foundation students have been busy putting their persuasive writing skills into action this week. Using the Think, Decide, Explain strategy, students crafted thoughtful arguments to convince Santa about a special gift, or to persuade their families to consider a fun holiday activity! 

A key focus of the lesson was using the conjunction because to strengthen their reasoning and clearly explain why their request should be granted. Students enjoyed sharing their ideas and were proud to see how a well-structured argument can influence others.

It was a fun and festive way to build confidence in persuasive writing while developing essential language skills!
