First Communion Candidates in Our Prayers

This Sunday and next will see over forty candidates from St Cecilia's Parish celebrate the sacrament of First Holy Communion.

The Year 4 students have been preparing with their families, teachers and classmates for the past couple of months.

We congratulate each of them for their dedication to and reverence for this special moment in their journeys as members of the Catholic Church.

A big thank you to the Year 4 teachers, Mr Gavin Griffith and Ms Erica Christie for their support of the students during their preparation.

We also thank Fr Kevin who will celebrate the ceremonies with the children and Mrs Annmaree Hoy for coordinating and organising the many elements that go into making these events such a special time for the candidates and their families.

We ask that you remember the children in your prayers over the next couple of weeks.
