Middle School

Term 3 has begun with plenty of colour, energy, and exciting opportunities for our Years 7–9 students.

On Monday 12th August, the entire school came together for our Colour Run, raising money for the Live for Lily Foundation

With bright colour powder in the air, music playing, and plenty of smiles, it was a fantastic celebration of community spirit for an important cause—supporting research into childhood cancer.

Our Year 9 students have also been busy completing their Morrisby career planning interviews, an important step in helping them explore future pathways and plan for their post-school goals. These interviews gave students valuable insights into their strengths, interests, and possible career directions.

Last week, we welcomed families for Parent Teacher Student Conferences. These sessions provided a great opportunity for open conversations about progress so far and strategies for success in the second half of the year.

Looking ahead, our Year 8 students will be participating in the ManCave and Big Sister Experience programs on Monday 18th August. These engaging workshops aim to build resilience, confidence, and positive connections, giving students valuable tools for personal growth and wellbeing.

It’s already shaping up to be a productive and rewarding term, and we look forward to seeing all our Middle Years students continue to learn, grow, and thrive.
