Book Week 2026: Celebrating Our Grade 6 Leaders

What a wonderful Book Week we have had, and a very special congratulations to our Grade 6 Library Captains and School Captains for the incredible leadership they demonstrated throughout the week.

Our Grade 6 students worked behind the scenes and in front of the school to help make Book Week such a success. From designing and creating bookmarks, making announcements, organising competitions and activities, running lunchtime events and helping with the Book Character Parade, our Captains took on their responsibilities with enthusiasm and maturity.

They also helped bring our ‘Symphony of Stories’ theme to life by encouraging students across the school to get involved and celebrate their love of reading. It was wonderful to see our senior students taking such an active role in creating a positive reading culture across the school.

A huge congratulations to all of our Grade 6 Captains. Your creativity, organisation, confidence and willingness to help others have been fantastic to see. You should be very proud of the contribution you have made to Book Week 2026!
