Miss Atherton
Our Year 5/6 students recently represented the school at the Interschool Summer Sports, and it was fantastic to see the effort, teamwork and sportsmanship on display across all teams!
Our Volleyball team may not have come away with a win, but their attitude was outstanding. They supported one another, showed great respect to their opponents, and demonstrated resilience in every match. Most importantly, they kept their spirits high and made sure to enjoy the experience together.
Similarly, our Softball team showed incredible grit and determination throughout the day. While results didn’t go their way, their positive mindset and sportsmanship were truly commendable. They played each game with enthusiasm, kept their heads up, and represented the school with pride.
Finally, our Basketball teams had a fantastic day of competition. Both the A and B teams won all of their games, earning their place in the semi-finals. The B Team played a strong semi-final but were unfortunately defeated, just missing out on a spot in the final. The A Team continued their impressive run, winning their semi-final to progress through to the final. In a challenging final match, and despite being tired from the semi-final, they worked tirelessly together, maintaining strong defence and offence. In a closely contested game, they were narrowly defeated, but showed excellent character by shaking hands with their opponents and demonstrating great sportsmanship.

ATHLETICS DAY 2026 🔵🟡🟢🔴
What an amazing Athletics Day! Well done everybody who did their best at all of our Athletics events. It was clear that all groups worked through each event with high participation, energy and great Sportsmanship, cheering each other on regardless of what House they are in. The day finished with our House relays, and of course our teacher (and Owen) relay!
