Stage 6 CAFS
Stage 6 Community and Family Studies (CAFS) mixed things up a little this term, by completing an Individual Research Project (IRP) in small groups. Typically, this project was completed individually and was a lengthy and tiresome task. The students worked cooperatively, in randomly selected groups, to choose a topic and then complete their research. Mrs Chappell and Mrs Sergeant were very impressed with the cooperation and enthusiasm they brought to the task. This task covered all aspects of the unit of work on Research Methodologies, which is a core component of CAFS.
Stage 6 Food Technology
Term 2 has proved to be a very busy time for Stage 6 Food Technology students in the school kitchen. They have demonstrated great skills in practical lessons on Friday afternoons.
