Year 9/10 Art NGV Excursion

Last month, our Year 9/10 Art students headed into the city for a fun and inspiring day at the
National Gallery of Victoria. They explored Top Arts, part of the VCE Season of Excellence, and were blown away by the amazing work from the selected Year 12 students, especially the detail and creativity in their visual diaries.
They also visited the Wurrdha Marra gallery on the ground floor, where they connected with a range of artworks, from painted bark pieces to bold abstract paintings by First Nations artists.
It was a sunny day out, and students had a great time soaking up art, culture and fresh ideas for their own creative work.
