Principal Report

This term has absolutely flown and we are in the last few weeks of Term 2 already!
This week our Grade 5 students participated in the Forest Edge School Camp. This is a significant camp because it is the first time we have utilised Forest Edge School Camp and it is unique because our Grade 5 students were there from Tuesday to Friday, a total of 4 days and 3 nights. Our Grade 5 students participated in a full day ‘camp experience’ last year, while they were in Grade 4, however this will be the first time for an extended camp.
Prior to going on camp, some Grade 5 students have written about what they are looking forward to with the Forest Edge School Camp:
On the 10th June, the Grade 5 students will go to Forest Edge Camp. I am very excited because it will be the first time I will be sleeping away from home and not my bed. I am also very excited because of the fun activities such as camp cooking and crate climb. Also, the food they will be serving us looks very fancy!

Next week we are heading off to Grade 5 Camp. We are going to a camp called Forest Edge. I am excited for all the fun activities like flying fox, high ropes and more. I’m also excited about the movie night, game night and walk too. I am looking forward to spending time with my friends in the cabins and getting to have breakfast, lunch and dinner with them too. I can’t wait to play with my friends during free time. Camp is going to be amazing!

Next week the Grade 5 students are going to CYC Forest Edge Camp. We are excited to sleep somewhere new for the first time, especially in cabins with our friends! We can't wait to try the new and exciting activities that the camp has as well as wind down with some night time activities too. We know we will have the best time!

Thanks and have a great day.
