Recently the Year 7’s at both campuses listened to a talk by the award-winning author, playwright and screenwriter Gabriel Bergmoser. His enthusiasm for story telling comes from a life long love of reading and the students heard about his journey to becoming a successful novelist. 

Gabriel’s books have been translated into multiple languages and his plays performed internationally. When he spoke to our students he emphasised to them that never give up on something you are passionate about because you never know when it might work out for the best. When asked what really makes you happy Gabriel Bergmoser said ‘nothing will ever make me as happy as being totally consumed by a good story’. One of his most popular books for teens is ‘Andromache Between Worlds’ which is an action-packed adventure  and available for our students to read.
