Meet the Captains

Lily Agnew
Sports Captain Cranbourne Campus
What do you see as your role as a student leader?
As a student leader, my job is to set a good example, support others, and help make our school a welcoming and respectful place for everyone. I want to be someone people can look up to and feel comfortable talking to. Being a leader isn’t just about having a title — it’s about helping others, working together, and making a difference.
What is one of the positives about being a student at St Peter's College?
One of the best things about being at St Peter’s is the strong sense of community. Everyone is encouraged to grow, not just with schoolwork, but also in their faith and as people. There are lots of chances to get involved, and the teachers and staff are always there to support us.
What are your goals as Sports Captain - Cranbourne in 2025?
As Sports Captain of Cranbourne, I want to get everyone involved and excited about sport, no matter their skill level. I’ll be helping run a new Sports Club with Olo, where we’ll create a fun and supportive space for everyone to be active. I also want to build team spirit, cheer people on, and help our house do our best in all competitions.
Our College theme in 2025 is "Be the reason for hope" 1 Peter 3:15 - How will you live this statement through your leadership role?
To me, “be the reason for hope” means being kind, helpful, and positive — especially when things get tough. As a leader, I’ll try to support others, be someone people can trust, and always look out for those who need a bit of encouragement. Whether it’s in sport, class, or just around school, I want to lift people up and make them feel like they matter.
