Reflecting on the recent Alan Davidson Shield, it was a tough finish with Crestwood proving strong on the day. While the result didn’t go our way, there is so much to be proud of.

Reflecting on the team’s performance, coach Andrew Watkins shared:“Overall, I’m incredibly proud of how the team performed across the whole competition. Even when we didn’t put enough runs on the board, the boys stayed in the fight and kept pushing to take wickets — something they’ve done every game.”

That determination was on full display in the final, with an early highlight of 4 wickets for just 20 runs, alongside a strong contribution from Cooper Galvin, scoring 17 runs in his first game in four years.

As this competition wraps up, we also acknowledge Oliver and Cooper in their final year. Their contribution to the team has been significant, and they leave a strong foundation for those continuing on.

A strong campaign overall and a great reflection of the determination and sportsmanship within our school community.
