Blast Cricket

The combined Blast cricket team of Cavendish and Branxholme students played with skill and consistency to win 2 out of 3 matches at Pedrina Park on Thursday.

Nearly everyone hit a boundary or 2, with a few in the double zone.  The best score of the day was 14 runs off the one ball.  Impressive!!

Batting and bowling were our strongest areas.  Fielding needed some work. 😊

Matches were very close and unfortunately our run margin was not quite enough to get into the finals.

Hamilton North defeated Cavendish/Branxholme - 153 to 135

Cavendish/Branxholme defeated Good Shepherd - 174 to 132

Cavendish/Branxholme defeated St Mary's - 137 to 98
