World Educator's Day

Did you know that today is World Educator's Day? I just want to extend a thanks to our teachers and education support staff for all that they do to support the education of our Cavendish kids. You are invaluable to us, and we appreciate everything that you do. 

 

Halloween Disco

Thank you to Parents Club for organising our Halloween Disco that is on tonight.  The students are all very excited! And I can't wait to bust a move (and hopefully nothing else!).

 

School Review

School review is now complete, and our new School Strategic Plan is almost in place for the next four years.

I would like to thank our whole school community for their support through the review process. The outcome of the review demonstrated the strength and resilience of our community, and I look forward to leading us through the next four years.

 

Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation Grant

We are thrilled to have received a $1500 grant from the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation. This money will be used to purchase equipment to build up our cooking resources.

Mrs Neale has been doing a fantastic job planting vegetables in the Environment Centre  with our students. Some of the produce they have been growing was ready to harvest today.  Lots of yummy Chard and Bok Choy!

  • Fleece and Flower Show Friday 7 November. Come along, celebrate the contributions from our students and join in with the festivities.

    Please start bringing in your mystery jars for our students to sell on our games stall.

  • My Business Rules – The Market Mission/Family Picnic Dinner/Final School Council Meeting Friday 28 November. Join us for a Picnic Dinner, support our Year 4-6 students Economics project and celebrate the year that has been with School Council.

 

 

 

 

Melbourne Cup Public Holiday

Reminder that next Tuesday 4th November is a public holiday.  

Monday is not a student free day so all students will be expected to attend school on Monday.
