Loving learning every day with Miss W and Miss Mawby!
A couple of weeks ago, our Grade 3/4 students swapped their classrooms for castles, bowling lanes, and bouncy trampolines as they headed off on their much-anticipated camp adventure!

We began our journey on Wednesday at Kyral Castle, where our brave campers explored the land of knights and dragons (and possibly a few tired teachers by the end of the night).

That evening, we travelled back in time to Sovereign Hill for the incredible Light and Sound Show, which dazzled everyone and made history come alive in the most spectacular way.

Thursday was spent digging into the gold rush era at Sovereign Hill, where students panned for gold, visited the old-fashioned shops, and tried their luck at striking it rich (sadly, no one found enough to retire early). In the afternoon, we swapped gold pans for bowling balls at Ten Pin Bowling, where there were as many strikes as there were victory dances. We finished the very busy day with a movie, and a few sleepy heads by the end (teachers included!).

On Friday, we bounced our way through Xtreme Bounce, proving that even after two nights of little sleep, students somehow have endless energy. We wrapped up camp with a relaxing lunch at Victoria Park Playground before heading back to school, tired, happy, and full of stories to tell.

It was an unforgettable adventure for all of students. There may not have been much sleep, but there were plenty of smiles, laughter, and memories made that will last well beyond camp!
Grade 3/4B have been busy writing recounts about their camp adventure! Some stories are still under construction , but you will definitely get a sense of what they loved most about camp!
