Year 10 Work Experience 2026
The summer holidays are a great opportunity for Year 10 students to organise their work experience placement.
Work experience dates are 4-8 May. All students who are not cadets are required to complete work experience during this week. Students can complete two placements in the week if they wish.
Year 12 Tertiary Application Support
Students wishing to discuss plans for 2026 and beyond as well as any change of preferences can email Mr Harms this week. Face to face meetings can also be set up.
Payments for Students Beginning Tertiary Study
Tertiary Access Payment
A payment to help students with the cost of moving from regional or remote areas for tertiary study.
The Tertiary Access Payment (TAP) is a one off payment of up to $5,000. It’s to help eligible students with the cost of moving to study. This is for study after you’ve finished Year 12 or equivalent.

Relocation Scholarship
A once a year payment if you get ABSTUDY or Youth Allowance. You must also need to move to or from a regional or remote area for higher education study.
