Year 9 Camp
Year 9 Camp
The Year 9 camp at Rubicon Outdoor School was an unforgettable adventure, offering students the chance to connect with the great outdoors and push their limits. Students chose from a variety of exciting experiences, including a 5-day hike, rafting or mountain biking expeditions, or staying at base camp and participating in day trips featuring these activities.
Throughout the week, students explored breathtaking landscapes, built resilience, and strengthened bonds with their peers. Whether navigating rapids, climbing mountain trails, or camping under the stars, the camp was a perfect blend of challenge, teamwork, and fun.

Camp this year was a blast! We all really enjoyed group activities, like cooking and sitting around the fire, which helped us create more friendships. A lot of us found canoeing very challenging at first because we had never experienced it before, however by the end of the week we were having so much fun in the canoe as we got to go down some big rapids. Despite the hard times, and some people falling out of the canoe, we have now gained so many skills and memories that we will carry with us for life.
