Carols in the Park🎄

Get ready to kick off the holiday season with family and friends at Glen Eira’s Carols in the Park! Hosted by the hilarious Colin Lane, this festive celebration features an incredible lineup of performers including:

✨ The Australian Girls Choir

✨ The Glen Eira Band

Starting at 4 pm, there’ll be roving entertainment, Christmas crafts, face painting, and a special visit from Santa. 

Food trucks will be available, or feel free to bring your own picnic and enjoy the festivities.

Debaters Association of Victoria Summer Debate Camp

Registration is now open for the DAV's Intermediate Summer Debate Camp program, to be held in the school holidays. This camp is open to students in years 9-10. We are investigating adding a Year 7-8 program, depending on venue availability. If students or parents are interested they can contact us directly. 

When: Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 January 2025 (9am-4pm)

Where: Huntingtower School, Waimarie Dr, Mt Waverley.

Who: Students in Years 9-10

Cost: $330 per student for the 3-day program or $130 for single day registrations, inclusive of lunch.

The non-residential camp will run from 9am-4pm each day and will consist of seminars on recurring debating themes, workshops to improve debating and public speaking skills, and the chance to participate in multiple debates to receive feedback from experienced adjudicators.

Registration is due by 4pm, Wednesday 8th January or when we reach capacity. Please note that our Debate Camp programs are quite popular and spaces often fill quickly, so we encourage you to register as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
