SUSTAINABILITY 

From Waste to Growth  - Our Compost Champions!

Our students have been doing amazing work caring for the environment through our composting program. Each week, they collect food scraps from classrooms and the staffroom, saving valuable waste from ending up in landfill. With time, teamwork, and a lot of turning, this effort has produced rich, fertile compost ready to nourish our school gardens! 

We now have two garden beds prepped and ready for planting, and thanks to a generous donation of seedlings from the Heyblom family (thank you!), students will soon get to see their hard work grow into fresh fruit and vegetables. 

This hands-on learning is helping our students understand sustainability, food cycles, and the power of caring for our planet, one compost scoop at a time!
