R U Ok?

R U OK? Day at Melton Secondary College

On Thursday, 11 September 2025, near the end of Term 3, Melton Secondary College came together to recognise R U OK? Day with a strong message of connection, care, and conversation.

Students were encouraged to learn how to have meaningful conversations and how to support others who might not be feeling okay. They proudly wore yellow ribbons to show their support for positive mental health and took part in the R U OK? pledge, completing the sentence:

“On R U OK? Day and every day I will…”

These pledges reflected kindness, empathy, and a commitment to looking out for one another within our school community.

The event also featured a variety of healthy food options, promoting wellbeing in both mind and body.

R U OK? Day was a powerful reminder that every conversation matters — and that by checking in with those around us, we can make a real difference every day of the year.
