Foundation (Prep) 2025

Children born on or before 30 April 2020 are eligible to commence primary school in Foundation (Prep) in 2025.

Applications Open

In accordance with the new Department of Education Foundation (Prep) enrolment process and timeline for 2025, applications opened on Monday 15 April 2024 (first day of Term 2) and are due by Friday 26 July 2024. We are excited that our school is involved in the rollout of digital enrolment applications on the VicStudents portal, commencing for EHPS with next year's Foundation (Prep) enrolments.

Copies of the documents linked above are available from the School Office on request.

Submit your application for Foundation (Prep) 2025 now, and not later than Friday 26 July, on the VicStudents portal.

School tours for parents who have a child commencing in Foundation (Prep) in 2025 only have a few more dates to book a scheduled tour before the application due date; based on the response so far for bookings, interest in enrolment at EHPS continues to be high.

If you have family, friends or neighbours with a child eligible for Foundation (Prep) in 2025, please encourage them to phone our School Office to book a tour or collect an information pack including the enrolment application details.

Placement in Foundation (Prep) 2025 will be confirmed between 29 July and 9 August 2024.

Following completion of enrolment, the School Transition Program for enrolled children is an essential part of their preparation to starting at primary school:

Story Time (choose one of two sessions) in August (optional; booking required)
Glitter & Glue Art Session in September (optional; booking required)
Music Sing-a-long in September (optional; booking required)
Transition 1 - 10 October
Transition 2 - 23 October
Transition 3 - 19 November
Orientation Day - 6 December

Parents/guardians of children enrolled to commence in Foundation (Prep) in 2025 will have an Information Evening on Tuesday 12 November.
