Farewell from Ina

Dear Essex Heights Community,

I would like to farewell you all after 17 years of service at Essex Heights Primary School in the Principal class role. I have known many of you for a long time and some of you I have just met this year, but it has been a privilege to be a part of your lives and support the growth and wellbeing of our students.

Building relationships within the community has provided me with many rewards over the years including sharing memories and stories, building a history, making wonderful small and big connections, extending my perspectives and tolerance as I deal with diverse views and challenges, and above all having fun. I have seized the many opportunities for growth and learning in this stimulating environment filled with complexity, change, and striving to be the best I can be.

My time here has given me great joy and I look forward to the next chapter of my journey. I wish you all well and hope that our children learn to choose positivity, kindness, and curiosity for themselves.
