AMT Mathematics Competition

The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) is the longest-running and most renowned maths competition in Australia, first held in 1978. It is open to students in Years 3 to 6 and aims to challenge and extend their problem-solving skills with unique problems designed each year by leading educators and academics. 

This is not a compulsory competition. An expression of interest for this competition has been published on Compass; responses are due now and not later than Friday 19 July.Please note that no late entries will be accepted after this date. 

By opting in to this event, you are committing to having your child participate. The cost will be approximately $12-$15. A separate event will be created for parents who opt in, where the payment will be processed. 

The competition will be held at school from 6 to 8 August this year. 

We are excited to offer this fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their mathematical talents and gain valuable experience. We look forward to seeing our students rise to the challenge and excel in this prestigious competition.
