The ICT team are located near the M8 Classroom and provides the following services:

Hardware:

Labs, Trolleys & Staff Laptops, TV’s & Projectors, iPads, Printers

Infrastructure:

Servers, Switches, Wi-Fi, Network

Access Management: 

Account Management, Passwords, Security

The start of the year is always a busy time for the ICT team as we roll out our school ICT programs to the students. 

iPad 1:1 program

The ICT Team have completed configuring and deploying 500+ iPads to year 7, 8 and 9 students with great success. A lot of hard work was undertaken by our ICT team during the school holidays and we thank them for their contribution and efforts. 

The iPad deployment is always an exciting time at the collage and it is good to see the enjoyment of our students receiving their device.

BYOD

In the first few days of term we have successfully connected a number of devices for our students.

For our Year 10, 11 and 12 students, Melton secondary college currently offers a bring your own device program. If you would like your device connected to access the internet within the school, please bring your device to the ICT team.
