It was wonderful to see our community come together last week to celebrate Multicultural Day across both sub-schools. The enthusiasm, creativity, and pride shown by students in sharing culture, food, music, and dance created a vibrant atmosphere. A particular highlight in the Senior School was our Multicultural Chapel, which provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on diversity, belonging, and an awareness of how other cultures show and celebrate their faith.

We also extend our congratulations to the student who performed in the Tuesday Lunchtime Rock Concert. What a fantastic event - full of energy, talent, and more dancing. It was a joy to see students take the stage and share their abilities with such enthusiasm to a crowd of students across both sub-schools. We hope this is the first of many opportunities like this throughout the year.

A special shout-out as well to the band who performed Hysteria by Muse at assembly last week - next level! Your skill, teamwork, and stage presence were outstanding and certainly left a lasting impression.

By the time you are reading this, our Athletics Carnival will have taken place. Events like these are always a highlight of the school calendar, bringing together House spirit, friendly competition, and plenty of fun. I would like to congratulate all students on their participation, effort, and sportsmanship. It is this collective energy that makes the day so enjoyable for everyone involved.

Looking ahead, we are preparing for our Reconciliation Walk next Tuesday. This is an important opportunity for our community to come together in reflection, learning, and commitment as we continue to deepen our understanding of reconciliation and our shared responsibility to walk together respectfully.

Year 7 School Vaccination Program

If your child is in Year 7 this year, you can now provide online consent for their routine school vaccinations.

In Year 7, students are offered free vaccines for diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (dTpa) and human papillomavirus (HPV).

Vaccination will only be provided at school if consent has been received.

Date of vaccination: Monday 15 June 2026

Consent for school vaccination

Consent for each vaccine must be provided by parents/guardians for students to receive free vaccinations at school.

Parents/guardians can provide consent online for their child’s routine school vaccinations on the NSW School Vaccination Program portal. Select login with Service NSW Account. To provide online consent you will need:

Medicare card details for you and your child.

If you or your child do not have a Medicare card, consent can still be provided by requesting a paper-based consent form – available on request from your child’s school.

Parents can withdraw consent at any time before vaccination takes place:

where consent has been given online, please log-in to the secure NSW Health portal and follow the prompts to withdraw consent, or
where consent has been given on the physical consent form, please write to or call the school to advise the student's name, school grade and those vaccines the withdrawn consent applies to.

If you would like your child to receive vaccination, please ensure that you have provided consent at least one week prior to the date of vaccination.

faster upload of vaccination records to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).
