What a sensational day it was at this year’s 3–6 Athletics Carnival, with the Junior School coming alive with energy, enthusiasm and outstanding House spirit. Blessed with beautiful weather, students embraced every event with determination, pride and encouragement for one another.
From the excitement of the 100m and 200m sprints to the endurance shown in the 800m events, students demonstrated resilience and commitment throughout the day. Out on the field, strong performances in long jump, high jump, discus and shot put highlighted the skill and versatility of our young athletes. As always, the Year 6 relay races proved a crowd favourite, delivering thrilling finishes and plenty of House pride.
A special mention goes to our Year 3 students, who experienced their very first 3–6 Athletics Carnival. They approached the day with confidence, enthusiasm and plenty of smiles, embracing the spirit of the event beautifully.
Congratulations to all students who participated and gave their best in every event. The sportsmanship, encouragement and support shown throughout the carnival were outstanding and a credit to all involved.
Due to a few technical difficulties, the overall winning House, Age Champions and runners-up are still being finalised and will be announced as soon as possible next week. Thank you to families for your patience and understanding.

Congratulations to Lulu Collins and her CIS basketball team on their outstanding success at the NSW PSSA Basketball Championships in Port Macquarie last week.
The team progressed through the opening rounds undefeated before securing a convincing victory over MacKillop in the Grand Final on Friday. Back at school, Lulu’s Year 6 classmates eagerly watched the match via livestream, cheering on her and the team from the classroom.
Lulu and her CIS teammates were crowned NSW PSSA Girls Champions - a fantastic achievement. Well done, Lulu!

Our students represented the College with great enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship at Wednesday’s AFL Gala Day. Across the day, all five teams competed strongly in their matches, displaying impressive skill, determination and encouragement for one another both on and off the field.
There were many highlights throughout the competition, including excellent ball movement, strong defensive efforts and moments of individual brilliance. Most pleasing, however, was the teamwork and respect shown by all players as they supported one another and their opponents throughout the day.
Although our teams narrowly missed out on progressing to the Grand Final, they should be incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they represented the College.
Well done to all students involved on a fantastic day of AFL and College spirit.

Congratulations to Harlow Murray, Sophie Hanley and Olivia Bernardin, who travelled to Sydney last week to represent RAS at the CIS Netball Trials.
All three girls represented both RAS and Trinity with pride, achieving several strong results across the competition.
We are very proud of your efforts and achievements. Well done, girls!

Last Tuesday, 10 teams of Year 5 and 6 students represented Trinity at the NSW Schools Netball Cup, held at JC King Park. Schools travelled from across the region, including Moama, to compete in the gala day.
A special thank you goes to our Year 8 students who assisted throughout the day as umpires. Their support and leadership were greatly appreciated.
While our teams did not progress to the Grand Final this year, they competed with pride, determination and excellent sportsmanship. Thank you to Mrs McInnes, Ms Riches, Mrs McDonald and all staff and helpers who dedicated so much time to preparing the students for the event.
Well done to all students involved for the wonderful way they represented the College.
