Mr Jacob Cincurak - Senior School Sports Coordinator
Students from Trinity recently took part in the Summer Biathlon, competing across a full day of events that showcased effort, teamwork, and strong school spirit.
A special thank you must go to Hamish Sidgwick for his support throughout the day, and to Bob Grange for organising the event and running the training sessions in preparation. The work put in beforehand was clearly reflected in the confidence, effort, and performance of the students.
The event consisted of three separate competitions on the day: Biathlon Run/Performance Events, the Top Shot (.22 calibre) Event, and the Laser Eco AIMS Event.
Across all events, students represented the college with outstanding behaviour, demonstrating respect, encouragement, and strong support for one another. It was particularly impressive to see students genuinely invested in each other’s success throughout the day.
A special mention must go to Anja Bartels, who was an excellent captain. Her leadership, encouragement, and positive attitude helped guide and support the team throughout the competition.

We would also like to thank Mr Dave Miles, Mrs Jaimee Munroe and Mrs Amy Wilson for assisting with after-school training sessions. A huge thank you is extended to Mr Dicketts for organising the training and the logistics for Trinity students to be a part of the event.
Finally, thank you to all students for their commitment, effort, and outstanding representation of the college. Their attitude, teamwork, and sportsmanship were exceptional throughout the day.

Following recent victories against Galen Wangaratta and Xavier, Trinity’s U15 football (soccer) team continued its impressive run with a 4–2 win over a strong Albury High side.
The Bill Turner Cup is a national knockout competition that began with more than 850 schools from across Australia. Trinity has now progressed to the final 128 teams and will next face either St Francis Leeton or Deniliquin High for a place in the final 64.
In a tightly contested match, Albury High opened the scoring before Cooper Scott levelled the game for Trinity. A successful penalty from Lucas Mordecai gave Trinity a 2–1 lead heading into half-time.
Albury High equalised with a penalty in the second half, but goals from Denver Yogarasa and a late strike from Chase Rayner secured an outstanding 4–2 victory for Trinity.
Xavier Bellerose was named Player of the Match by the referee, while Trinity was also awarded the Peter O’Riordan Shield as winners of the Albury/Wodonga stage of the competition.
Congratulations to all players and coaches on this outstanding achievement, and best wishes for the next stage of the competition.
