Library Opening Hours

Term two library opening hours are 8.30am until 4.00pm daily.

Author Visits 

This month has been an exciting and busy time for our junior school students in the library with special guests and performances visiting.

We welcomed Meerkat Productions who delivered a puppetry song, dance and storytelling performance to our Kindergarten students. They experienced three classic fairy tales in an interactive, high energy, hands-on performance. 

Last week, internationally awarded authors Kate and Jol Temple visited our year 1, 2 and 3 students. They talked all things ‘Bin Chicken’ and ‘Mega Rich Guinea Pigs’ with the fun and laughs that were expected from the dynamic duo. Year 3 students were fortunate enough to experience an illustration tutorial with Jol, some of their work may have made it home!

National Simultaneous Storytime

On Wednesday at 12.00pm, our students joined millions of children across the country in celebrating National Simultaneous Storytime! 

Together, we shared this year’s selected story, Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller, as part of one of Australia’s most beloved annual reading events.

A special thank you to our Year 12 students, Sophie and Banjo, who did a wonderful job reading the story to our students.

National Simultaneous Storytime brings together children, families, libraries, schools and early learning centres from right across Australia to read the same story at the same time - celebrating the joy of reading and storytelling.

We also proudly presented our colouring competition winners with their very own copy of Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller! Congratulations to all of our talented entrants.
