Infrastructure and Facilities

Pilgrim School is located on the Aberfoyle Park Primary School Campus (Campus) which boasts three ovals, a basketball court- sized covered outdoor learning area, a Nature Play Space, Library, performing Arts Centre, Gym, several playgrounds and hardplay areas.
Significant enhancements were made to both learning environments and shared spaces across the school in 2025, including:
- New shade sails installed over the Junior Primary playground during the summer holidays before Term 1. These sails are significantly larger than the previous sails, now covering the entire playground rather than just the sandpit.
- Additional shade sails installed over the courtyard between the Main Building and the Oasis Building in Term 3.
- New garden planted near the Early Years playground (P&F funded).
- Small new lawn area installed near the Oasis Building (P&F funded).
- Indigenous food trail/bush tucker garden established behind the Year 3/4 classrooms, with plants used by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples for food and other purposes - developed with Trent Hill and planted with Year 1 students and Derek Bawden.
- Expansion of our student readers and school Lexile book collections.
- Introduction of an AI chatbot on our school website to assist families 24/7 with common queries.
- Full transition to Compass as the school management platform, replacing Sentral - covering attendance, excursion consents, academic reports, school photos and family communication.
