Grade Prep Report

What a fabulous start we have had to Prep!

Our Prep students have settled in beautifully, and we can’t believe how quickly the time is flying. Everyone has been busy making new friends, learning classroom routines and becoming familiar with school life. It has been so lovely to see so many smiling faces each morning!

In Literacy, we have jumped straight into our phonics learning and are already exploring the sounds s, t, a, p, n and i. The students are beginning to recognise and identify these sounds in words, and we are so proud of their efforts and enthusiasm.

In Maths, we have had lots of fun creating two-part and three-part patterns using colours, shapes and different materials. There has been so much creativity and excitement as we work out what comes next! We have also been learning about time and discussing what happens in the morning, afternoon and night.

What a wonderful start to Prep! We can’t wait for all the exciting learning still to come.
