News from Bexley, our Well-being Dog

 Hi everyone,

Thank you for helping me feel calm and relaxed at school by learning and using the special words I’ve been trained to understand (these can be found on pages 1 & 2 in the slideshow below). These words might be a little different from the ones you use with your pet at home. Using a positive, clear voice helps me know what you’re asking and I feel safe and confident doing my job at our beautiful school, St Mary’s.

You might notice the adult with me carrying a little bag of treats. When I listen carefully or follow a command, they give me one to say “well done!” It helps me keep learning and growing as your well-being dog.

Also… exciting news! I’m turning ONE on the 22nd of August! 🎉 I’d love to celebrate with you all. Miss Dullard will send out my birthday invite soon—keep an eye out!

Love and licks from Bexley.

Here I am feeling calm and relaxed thanks to the wonderful students at St Mary's.
I was so tired after Yard Duty and visiting the classrooms that I needed a sleep in Mrs Corfield's office.
