St Mary of the Cross MacKillop Feast Day

St Mary’s holds a special connection with Saint Mary MacKillop. Our school was founded in 1919 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph, the order established by Mary MacKillop and Father Julian Tenison Woods. As we prepare to celebrate her feast day on Friday 8th August, we give thanks for her legacy. Mary MacKillop, Australia’s first saint, reminds us to respond with compassion and courage whenever we see a need. At St Mary’s, we are proud to follow her example by showing kindness and helping others.
